I am a qualified Mountain Instructor with over 13 years experience of coaching and instructing rock climbing. I have worked at various outdoor centres and climbing walls, including Plas y Brenin – the national mountain centre in Wales.

I am often available for 1:1 or 1:2 ratio guiding and instructing in the UK and further afield.

This guiding and instruction can include ticking classic routes, self rescue techniques, general climbing coaching, or whatever you need to make the most out of your climbing.

• 1:1 Day – £200

Coaching

I offer advanced climbing coaching on several courses each year, usually run alongside my good friend and fellow climbing coach James McHaffie. The courses are run in a workshop style, with different sessions designed to improve your climbing such as; movement skills, gear placement, mental approach, training plans and tactics.

Our next course is a ‘Trad climbing workshop’ in North Wales on the 16th and 17th of June 2012.
